Yes, absolutely! Our branch is equipped with various air conditioning units. Especially during warm days and heatwaves, we take extra measures to make it as cool and pleasant as possible inside. So you can come escape with us with peace of mind.After your game, you are also more than welcome to freshen up with a soft drink or a snack from our vending machines!
The principle of an escape room is that you and your team are locked in a room and must try to escape within 60 minutes. You do this using all sorts of hidden clues, puzzles, and challenges. The goal is to escape each room as quickly as possible.
You can form a team with as few as 2 people. The maximum number of members allowed per room is 7 people.
Each team gets a total of 60 minutes of playing time. During this time, you'll move through various rooms.
The minimum age for participation is approximately 7 years old. This means children from this age can fully enjoy our activities, which are also specifically tailored to their developmental level.
Yes, that's certainly possible. If you have more than 7 people, we can arrange the booking for you. Please contact us at +32 3 828 91 14 or via the contact form on our website.
Want to move your booking?
This can be done up to 14 days in advance. For practical details, please refer to the link in your confirmation email. You can use this link to change your time slot, after which the confirmation email will be resent with the updated tickets.Attention! Old tickets will be automatically canceled. New tickets will be sent with the confirmation of your new time slot.
Cancel your booking?
Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the day of participation: the full amount will be refunded in the form of a gift voucher;Cancellation between 2 and 4 weeks before the day of participation: 60% will be refunded in the form of a gift voucher;Cancellation less than 14 days before the day of participation or in case of no show or very late show: no refund possible under any form. Cancellations can only be made by email to info@lockedup.be ,stating your booked name, date, time, name of the escape game, and your telephone number. The most up-to-date terms and conditions can be found during the booking process, just before finalising the booking.

A maximum of 7 people are allowed per time slot. If there are more people, you can split your group into multiple teams.For example:Is your group made up of 10 people? → Then you can purchase two tickets for 5 people.Is your group made up of 9 people? → Then you can buy one ticket for 4 people and one ticket for 5 people.Attention! Since we have two escape rooms, multiple teams can start simultaneously. This means up to 14 players can start simultaneously, divided between the Van Gogh and Pink Star rooms.
Absolutely. If you booked a time slot for fewer than 7 people, you can still book additional group members on-site, up to a total of 7 people per group. Please note that the maximum number of participants per team is always 7.
Our Escape Room is not wheelchair accessible; however, because everyone's mobility is different, we recommend contacting us. This way, we can determine together what is most suitable for your mobility, such as providing a folding chair if you have difficulty walking.
We currently have two escape games: "Van Gogh" and "Pink Star," each with a capacity of 7 players.
If you are pregnant, you can certainly still participate in the escape game, but we advise against this if you are heavily pregnant.

There are two ways to leave the escape room:You will find all the solutions to the riddles and puzzles, which will help you escape successfully.In case of emergency, indicate that you want to leave the room by signaling the camera and/or announcing this out loud.
No, this is strictly prohibited. It also helps maintain the mystery of the escape rooms for other visitors. If your team gets stuck on a puzzle, you can ask the game master(s) for tips.

The hour you've booked belongs entirely to your group. There will be no other participants, so you'll play the escape room in complete privacy.
Our standard packages accommodate up to 16 children (8 per room), but we are happy to work with larger groups or school classes. For example, we can use a rotation system in combination with the function room.

Our two escape rooms accommodate a maximum of 14 people simultaneously (7 per room). We split larger groups using a strict rotation system across two consecutive time slots:Time Slot 1 (60 min): Group A and B start the escape rooms, while group(s) C (&D) take their seats in the IBIS meeting room for an escape room board game.The changeover: After exactly 60 minutes, the groups rotate.Time Slot 2 (60 min): Group(s) C (&D) start the escape room(s), while groups A & B chat and continue the atmosphere with the escape room board game.Joint program: Afterwards, the entire team gathers in the meeting room for the chosen catering package.The advantage? No wasted time, continuous dynamism, and the entire team stays in the right problem-solving mindset!

Our partner IBIS can accommodate virtually all dietary requirements (such as vegetarian, vegan, halal, or gluten-free) and allergens. Please mention your specific requests in the comments field of the reservation form, and our partner will provide a suitable and delicious alternative.
Absolutely, both of our escape games are playable in both Dutch and English.
Absolutely! Our rooms are designed to be challenging yet accessible. We recommend ages approximately 7 and up. For the youngest groups, we subtly adjust the guidance so that they leave the room(s) with a sense of accomplishment (and a smile).
For safety and game supervision, a minimum of 1 adult per room is required. For a small group (up to 8 kids), this is 1 person; for a medium group (up to 16 kids in two rooms), this is 2 adults.
Yes, that is possible. Although our party packages (Basic, Comfort, and Premium) are the most hassle-free option, it is possible to rent the venue separately. Please contact us by email for a customized proposal.
No, our rooms are focused on adventure, riddles, and fun, not horror. There are no jump scares or scary actors. It is purely about teamwork and solving the puzzles.
Ja, dat is geen enkel probleem. Gasten van de escape room maken gratis gebruik van onze privéparking. Ook als jullie na het ontsnappen nog nagenieten in de feestzaal van het IBIS-hotel, mag de auto gewoon blijven staan.

If you choose the starter package (where you may bring your own decorations), it is possible to enter the hall before the start to hang balloons or garlands. Please let us know in advance so we can check if the hall is available.
You don't have to worry about finding a parking spot! We have a spacious private car park behind our location where you can safely park your car, bicycle, or scooter. We are also easily accessible by public transport.
The private room is reserved for the agreed duration of 1, 2, or 3 hours. Due to consecutive reservations, our partner adheres to a fixed end time.
Our partner IBIS's private room is located right next to our venue, just a few seconds' walk away. So you won't need to get back in the car or take public transport—convenient, isn't it?
After you have completed the reservation form and we confirm and schedule the booking, you will receive an official invoice by email. Payment must be made in advance (no later than 3 days before the date of the school trip) so that the reservation is definitively scheduled. Does your school require a PO number or purchase order number for the processing of this invoice? Please feel free to let us know in the comments section, and we will include this on the invoice.
We have our own parking lot behind our location with space for 7 vehicles. By train: Sint-Niklaas station is a fifteen-minute walk from our location. By bus: the nearest bus stop is on Hofstraat, just a 5-minute walk from our location.
